Making new friends, spacetime bends, everything ends But the middle is the sweet part Full moon light, missed the flight, twenty good nights Two tender hearts Cities and planes, pink champagne, miles in the rain Baby we'll go far Anniversary date, staying up late 'cause the morning can wait Swapping yawns and yarns And we turned out to be my favorite story tell it again Blue eyes stare, lifeguard chair, missing underwear Had to be here Broken rules, snuck in the pool, we try to play cool But we're hiding our tears And we turned out to be my favorite story tell it again Come on tell it again

Say it's not the end It's not the end Say it's not the end It's not the end 'Cause we talk about it (and talk about it and talk about it) Baby we talk about it (and talk about it and talk about it) And you don't mean it But you say it anyway Reptile Woman (oop) Shedding her skin We're going deeper (oop) We're going in And here I am (and here I am, here I am) Heart in my hand (Heart in hand, heart in hand) And it's not pretty But you want it anyway Then and now, now and later I like how some things don't change I like how some things do change 'Cause we talk about it (and talk about it and talk about it) Baby we talk about it (and talk about it, keep talkin' bout it) And it's not (always) easy But I want it anyway Reptile Woman (oop) Shedding her skin

In the spring there's buds And summer's lush Things are getting GREENER But in these four walls Strong and soundproof The light's not getting in I can't see you and You can't see me I'll never know you you'll Never know me I continue to be right As you leave it up to me To make that final call And just like that Everything changes Is this the last time? You don't see me you Can't see past you and You don't know you Like I now do One more try One more kiss One more cry One more goodbye One more try One more kiss One more cry One more goodbye In the spring there's buds And summer's always lush But however you're falling In or out Winter follows There's nothing left of us Nothing to say and Nothing to do

It's easy lazy in the sheets with good company So easy when the light comes in, hazy half-dreaming A trip on foot down to the corner store Black brew to-go A day is waiting to be taken on No hesitating Sometimes it's hard to let a moment happen It's not made to prolong Sometimes you think a good night can't happen And then it proves you wrong It proves you wrong It proves you wrong Footfalls on the leaves, rising to your feet Passing through the trees, carried by a breeze You can breathe in, breathe out Shut out the thoughts, the doubts that crowd around You can breathe in, breathe out Forget the clouds, the sun is out And it just so happens You had the right moves all along Sometimes you think a good night can't happen And then it proves you wrong It proves you wrong It proves you wrong A face moon-beaming, lighting up the evening Stride into the street, floating on a feeling You can get up, get out And ride the crowd, swim through surrounding sound You can get up, get out Let in the night, the sun is down And whatever happens You're in the place where you belong Sometimes you think a good night can't happen And then it proves you wrong It proves you wrong It proves you wrong (Instrumental Break) It's easy, laughing through the streets with good company So easy, dancing into scenes, without chasing dreams Can every day be this beautiful? First sight of light No expectations, a haven waiting To be taken in And it just so happens You had the right moves all along Sometimes you think a good night can't happen And then it proves you wrong It proves you wrong It proves you wrong Sometimes you think a good night can't happen

New Habits 03:34
Puckered lips blow away everything Settled water It's old habit keeping these eyes set On that endless fog stretching out ahead But you make right here right now so clear And I'll build a wall You'll just tear it down with playful hands Always searching That world outside can make you lose your level head But I've got more than one way to say "Come back to bed" You can lay it all on me And we're both changing into who we're gonna be Long talks and short fights You're finding more about me I keep on choosing you and I hope you keep choosing me So let's get away We can waste a day Where we go never matters We'll always uncover more wandering the streets I lost all my worries when you were walking next to me I'll follow you anywhere And we're both changing into who we're gonna be Longer talks and shorter fights You're finding more about me I keep on choosing you and I hope you keep choosing me

The company of a kindred spirit always feels like home Floors shaped to our feet Walls tuned to our laughter And at the window I spy My soul reflected My soul reflected My soul reflected A light that inspires trust Cuts loneliness Warm as a fire's glow A light that inspires trust Cuts loneliness Soft as starlight on still water Time collapses Lifetimes unfold It's not learning it's remembering Hello heart, welcome home (Violin Solo) My soul reflected My soul reflected My soul reflected My soul reflected My soul reflected The company of a kindred spirit always feels like home

Wildman 03:10
He was born in the wrong time He was born in the river He was born on the wrong side and there's no crossing over He's that Wildman (he's that Wildman) From Mississippi Crawled out of the riverbed, his mother had left him for dead Something in his eyes Raised on the land and by the counsel of the trees Find him where the river bends He was born in the wrong time He was born in the river He was born on the wrong side and there's no crossing over He's that Wildman (he's that Wildman) From Mississippi Muddy tracks on the bank lead to a hollow tree Bide your time while the night falls By fire's glow he may appear to sing his song of truth And pluck along on his twiggy lyre And he sings..... (lyre solo) He was born in the sunshine He was born with a secret And he'll never die So he'll always keep it He's that Wildman (with the lyre in hand) From Mississippi Yeah he's that Wildman Yeah he's that Wildman Yeah he's that Wildman Yeah he's that Wildman Yeah he's that Wildman Yeah he's that Wildman From Mississippi

I was just sitting on the porch with her that day The chilled white wine and smoke inspired us to play The warm September sky couldn't care less about us then We move in time The jagged hills surround the old, red brick paved town The rhythm of the city beats in the background All these familiar houses but the occupants have changed We move in time (Trumpet Solo) The cold November sky couldn't care less about us then We move in time

I'll take my love to a sunflower field Gonna take my love to a sunflower field I'll take my love to a sunflower field Meet me in that sunflower field Just take my hand, lead me away Together we stand an unbreakable chain Just take my hand, we'll make it babe No matter what they say I'll take my love to a sunflower field Gonna take my love to a sunflower field I'll take my love to a sunflower field Meet me in that sunflower field Just take my hand, lead me away Together we stand an unbreakable chain Just take my hand, we'll make it babe No matter what they say I'll take my love to a sunflower field Gonna take my love to a sunflower field I'll take my love to a sunflower field Meet me in that sunflower field Meet me in that sunflower field

about

Greener is a representation of our growth as artists, as individuals, in our relationships, over time. Greener reflects the wisdom we've gained while acknowledging that in many ways we are still naïve.

Many hands and hearts went into the making of this album over the past three years. This album would not be possible without the support of the wonderfully inclusive Columbus music scene. Enjoy :)
